Ingredients

  1. 3 lbChicken wings
  2. group 1
  3. 1 cupPacked brown sugar
  4. 1/4 cupDry sherry
  5. 1 cupSoy sauce
  6. 1/2 cupKetchup
  7. 2 tspFresh ginger, minced
  8. 2 cloveGarlic
  9. group 2
  10. 1/2 cupHoisin sauce
  11. 1 tbspFresh lime juice
  12. group 3
  13. 3 tbspSesame seed toasted
  14. 1/4 cupGreen onion, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. 1

    Broil chicken wings 10 minutes on each side, or until browned

  2. 2

    Place chicken in a crock pot

  3. 3

    Add all ingredients from group 1, stir thoroughly

  4. 4

    Cover, cook on low 5 to 6 hours or on high 2 to 3 hours until wings are no longer pink

  5. 5

    Stir once halfway through cooking time

  6. 6

    Remove wings and 1/4 cup liquid (discard the rest)

  7. 7

    Combine liquid with ingredients from group 2

  8. 8

    Drizzle over wings

  9. 9

    Sprinkle ingredients from group 3 before serving
