My father used to make French toast all the time. As I grew up I wanted to make it. So through trial and error I came up with this recipe. My father's used to be a little soggy, but mine is not. This is sure to be a quick, and easy meal. Cinnamon is optional, so is syrup.

1 serving
  1. 3Bread Slices
  2. 3 largeEggs
  3. 1 cupMilk
  4. 2 dashGround Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

10 mins
  1. 1

Preheat frying pan on low. Add a little oil to avoid stick.

  2. 2

Whisk together eggs and milk. Adding cinnamon is optional.

  3. 3

Lay bread slices in mixture. Do not press down, just gently lay in mixture to avoid soggyness. Repeat for other side of bread slice.

  4. 4

    Add bread to frying pan.

  5. 5

Flip every so often to allow for even heating and to avoid burning. Cinnamon can be sprinkled in this step instead of into mixture. This is still optional.

  6. 6

After a nice yellow and brown color is achieved the toast is finished and ready to serve!
