Ingredients

  • 1 packagesStew beef
  • 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 4 mediumpotato
  • 1/2 largechopped onion
  • 2 clovegarlic
  • 3/4 cupred wine
  • 1 1/2 cupwater
  • 1 tspancho chili powder
  • 1 tsporegano
  • 1 tsphungarian paprika
  • 1/2 tspbasil
  • 1/2 tspsage
  • 1/2 tspthyme
  • 1 cantomato paste
  • 6 ozBaby carrots

Steps

  1. 1

    Toss beef in flour salt and pepper

  2. 2

    Brown beef in cast iron pot.

  3. 3

    Remove beef and saute onions and crush garlic

  4. 4

    Deglaze with wine and add water, veggies, tomato paste, and beef
