Spaghetti fiesta
I was hungry the other day, so I quickly threw this together!
Steps
- 1
These are most of the ingredients! Chop up your spring onions, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, hot dogs.Season as desired (off fire) with shittoh, pepper, paprika, stock cubes and little salt as desired. Set aside/Refrigerate.
- 2
Put water in a pot/saucepan, just enough to cover the spaghetti. Add salt and a little vegetable oil (1 tbsp should do). Cover and leave to boil.
- 3
When water is boiled - with bubbles, break in the spaghetti. [I don't like mine short, so I break it once]. Leave on high heat.
- 4
Put vegetable oil or butter (not too much) in a medium/large frypan. Add curry and thyme.
- 5
Add in your onions and spring onions, stir fry them with wooden spoon until translucent. Reduce heat.
- 6
Add tomato paste to stir fry. Stir with wooden spoon. Add seasoned bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms to stir fry and crank up the heat, not the highest heat!
- 7
Check spaghetti, when almost done (five minutes left), add broccoli and hotdogs, so they steam and soften.
- 8
Add store-bought chicken slices to stir fry.
- 9
Strain cooked spaghetti + broccoli and hotdogs with a sieve.
- 10
Add strained spaghetti to stir fry little by little OR stir fry to spaghetti. Be sure to adjust for seasoning.
- 11
Serve hot! Yum. 😏
