In a pan heat 2tps oil.

Add 2tps cumin seeds and let them crackle in the oil.

Now add finally, chopped garlic,or green chilli finally, chopped saute for a few second.

Now add the potato cubes.mix it well with the cumin seeds and green chilli

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,1/2tps kashmiri red chilli powder,salt as required or 1/2tps coriander powder.

Saute the potato for 4-5minutes on low medium flame. Now add 1/2cup of water mix it well and cover the pan 2 mint.

Now add 2tps kasuri methi mix it well.

Mix the whole mixture well.then switch off the flame.

Serve aloo jeera hot with phulkas,puri or bread.
