heat oil or melt manteca, when hot add the sliced onions, fry until golden brown.

carefully dump can of beans in, if using refried beans then just stir occasionally and add salt if needed cook for about 5 minutes. If u are using whole beans add can of beans to pan do not drain out liquid stir occasionally until hot then u can either leave them whole and add salt to taste or u can use a potato masher to mash them.
