Put tomatoes through strainer. Warm oil and garlic in pan and add tomatoes and tomatoes sauce.

Bring just to a simmer and leave on a low flame.

Add mushrooms, oregano, salt and pepper and simmer covered for 20 minutes.

Wash and dry meat. Cut into bite size pieces and place side by side on top of sauce.

Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or longer; until veal is white.

Serve over rice.
