1 serving

1Four tins crushed tomatoes.
1One small tin tomato puree/concentrate.
1One cup of brown sugar. Less to suit taste.
1One chicken stock cube. Or two if small.
1One teaspoon ground star anaise.
1One teaspoon crushed garlic.
1One teaspoon salt to taste.
1One desertspoon sweet papricia.

I use my slow cooker bowl to blend in. I add ingredients one at a time and blitz as i go. Tasting as i go to check if i have it to my liking. After blitzing i heat it up to very hot before placing in steralised passata bottles.
