Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 3/4 cupsugar
  • 1 cupflour
  • 1/4 cupcocoa powder
  • 2 tspbakingpowder
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1/3 cupmelted butter
  • 1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
  • Sauce topping
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cuplight brown sugar
  • 1/4 cupcocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 cuphot water

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 180ºC

  2. 2

    Cake: Whisk together all dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Cake: Whisk together milk, butter and vanilla.

  4. 4

    Cake: Stir all ingredients together with a spatula untill smooth and pour into ungreased baking pan, evening it out.

  5. 5

    Topping: Whisk together sugars and cocoa, sprinkle over batter evenly

  6. 6

    Topping: Pour hot water over the top without stirring.

  7. 7

    Bake for about 30min. Wait at least 15 min before serving.
