Saute 5 minutes in butter.

Blend in flour and salt.

Stir in light cream and cook until thick and bubbly.

Add minced chives and lemon juice

Remove crust from bread.

Roll thin as possible.

Spread mixture on each slice and roll.

Cut into quarters.

Toast in hot oven @ 450 for a few minutes. Turn as necssary. If needed place under broiler a few seconds to brown.

May be frozen & cooked. If freezing wait to cut into quarters while frozen, not before. 35 to 40 rolls
