Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 6Potatoes, peeled + cubed
  2. 2Leeks, chopped
  3. 2Onions, chopped
  4. 1Rib celery, sliced
  5. 1 tbspDried parsley flakes
  6. 1 tspSalt
  7. 1Pepper
  8. 1/3 cupButter
  9. 4 cupChicken broth
  10. 1 cupWater
  11. 13 ozCan evaporated milk
  12. 1Chopped chives

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients except milk and chives in slow cooker.

  2. 2

    Cover. Cook on Low 10-12 hours, or High 3-4 hours. Stir in milk during last hour.

  3. 3

    If desired, mash potatoes before serving.

  4. 4

    Garnish with chives.
