Chocolate Covered Red Velvet Cake Pops
A big hit every time I make them! !!!!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
bake red velvet cake mix according to box instructions.
- 2
let cake cool completely
- 3
crumble cake into a large bowl
- 4
add entire tub of cream cheese icing to crumbled cake and mix completely
- 5
using a spoon or miniature ice cream scooper, scoop and form golf ball size cake balls and place in large casserole dish.
- 6
When done, cover dish with plastic wrap and put in freezer to harden.
- 7
While cake balls are hardening, melt chocolate into a bowl for dipping.
- 8
bring cake balls out odd freezer, dip cake pop sticks in melted chocolate, then sick it into the cake ball, then again back into the chocolate now with the cake ball attached to the stick. dipping the stick into the chocolate first gives the cake ball a stand to sit on so it doesn't soften and slide down the sick.
- 9
Either place upside down on foiled cookie sheet to harden, or place in cake pop stand.
- 10
add sprinkles for decoration.
- 11
Enjoy!

Chocolate Fudge Cake Pops With White Choclate Coating Chocolate Fudge Cake Pops With White Choclate Coating
Cake Pops are a really popular cut e way to serve cake. Most cake pop recipes use boxed cake mix, mixing the baked cake crumbled with ready made frosting to make a sticky ball. They are all beautiful but very sweet and I am not a fan of premade frosting. Nortic Ware puts out a cake pop pan and uses a scratch recipe which makes a amazing brownie cake like pop. They need no crumbling or adding of frosting they are delicious pure balls of moist cake. I covered them with good quality white chicolate then decorated them. They are not to sweet, you bite into a moist chocolate fudgy cake with a delicious pure white chocolate coating! fenway -

My alterations to the ever popular cake mix cookies! I list instructions for 2 different sizes of cookie. Large will make 12 cookies, small will make 24. I went with large for this batch. StephieCanCook -
