You may need more pomegranates/oranges. What you require is equal quantities of juice from each fruit. For me this recipe produced approx 400ml of each
NOTE: this splashes and pomegranate juice stains, so make sure you have cleared away anything that you cannot wipe down, and wear an apron!

Cut pomegranate in half. Hold pomegranate over the bowl, seeds facing bowl and hit the skin with the back of a heavy spoon. This causes the seeds to fall into bowl. Remove little bits of white pith which may have fallen into bowl
