Simple and cheap recipe but very delicious
Steps

Shell the maize and wash thoroughly

Blanch the green peas to maintain the green colour

Put the maize in a sufuria add enough water cover and boil until almost cooked.

Add the green peas and continue the cooking until the green peas are just done but not overcooked.

In a separate sufuria heat oil,add chopped onions,ginger and garlic and fry till light brown
- 6
Add the tomatoes and cook untill soft.add the carrots.

Drain excess water from the githeri if any and add it to the spices
- 8
Stir well and cook for 5minutes
