Pour-It-In Peach Cobbler

This is my version of the super easy cobbler recipes that exist out there, which I use when I am craving cobbler outside of peach season.
Almost as easy as a dump cake, but twice as delicious in my opinion.
Also, you really don't want/need to use salt if you're using margarine because margarine is plenty salty already.

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut butter into several slices (I did 8 by the wrapper tbs guide). Scatter pieces in a 2 quart baking dish. Place in oven to melt butter.
- 2
While butter is melting, in a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add milk and stir until just combined.
- 3
When butter is melted remove baking dish from oven. Pour batter evenly over butter in dish. Do not stir. Pour peach slices evenly over batter. Again, do not stir.
- 4
Place in oven. Bake uncovered 1 hour. Let cool 15-20 minutes before serving. Serve with ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
