  1. 1 (16 oz.)Can of Great Northen Beans
  2. 1/4 lb.Slab Bacon
  3. 1 c.white sugar
  4. to tasteSalt & Pepper

  1. 1

    Dice & Render Bacon in a cast iron 3 quart dutch oven or covered casserole.

  2. 2

    Add beans, sugar, and salt & pepper. Stir until combined.

  3. 3

    Cover with water, and bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours.
