I made this randomly for my boyfriend, he enjoys chicken with a kick. The trick to baking chicken is to bake it at a high temperature for a short period of time. This will make the chicken juicy and flavorful!

Ingredients

30 mins
4 servings
  1. 4large chicken breasts
  2. 12 ozfavorite salsa (I made my own)
  3. 1/4 cupcanola oil
  4. 2 cupsbalsamic vinegar
  5. 1 tbsptabasco
  6. Favorite bottle of hot sauce
  7. 3 tbspLawrys seasoning salt
  8. 1/3 cupgarlic powder
  9. 2 tspitalian seasoning
  10. 1 tspchili powder
  11. 1 tbspblack pepper
  12. 1/2 cupcheddar cheese, 1/3 pepper jack (or your fave)
  13. 1/2 cupcilantro (for garnish)
  14. sour cream to top (optional)

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

Remove chicken from package, do not rinse. Place in large bowl, add canola, balsamic, hot sauces, seasoning. Stir, make sure chicken is covered. Marinade for a min of 1 hour. I used a glass pyrex bowl and covered with a lid, but foil or plastic wrap will work.

  2. 2

Preheat oven to 450. Place chicken breasts in a deep glass baking dish. Pour your favorite salsa on top. Cook for about 25-30 minutes or until chicken has reached safe temp of 160 degrees.

  3. 3

Take the chicken out of the oven. Top with cheeses, bake for five minutes.

  4. 4

Dollip with sour cream and cilantro, enjoy!!
