This is a Bengali cuisine which I learn from my Neighbour of kolkata. It has a distinct aroma and taste .
Steps

Soak the daal for atleast 20 minutes before cooking
- 2
Heat p l and temper nigella seeds, celery seeds and red chilli
- 3
Add pumpkin and gourd,saute adding salt and turmeric
- 4
Cover it for 10 mnts
- 5
Add the moong daal mix and pour water
- 6
Give it a good boil and then keep.it on a low flame
- 7
Finally add sugar and remove from the oven to serve
