Spicy Salted Chicken: Easy, Spicy, and Delicious

Lately, I've been obsessed with red bird's eye chilies. The other day, I even added extra chili sauce to my duck dish at a nearby restaurant, which resulted in a stomachache at home, but I still can't resist... haha. People here call it 'kapok lombok'.
This afternoon, I checked the fridge and only found chicken fillets. I just got back from the hospital with my youngest who was sick, so I haven't been to the market yet. But, I can still make a delicious dish! Where there's a will, there's a way. Moms are amazing like that; they can make a meal out of anything in the fridge, right? ;)
Spicy Salted Chicken, yes!! It would be even more fragrant with lemongrass, but I ran out. The sautéed onions are intentionally made salty to complement the savory chicken, guaranteed to make you want more!
Oh, and because I wanted to finish quickly, I used instant seasoning from the brand Sajiku. Haha.
Let's go, moms!

Steps
- 1
Cut the chicken to your liking and coat with lime juice. Set aside.
Dip in the seasoning mix, using two types: wet and dry. First, dip in the wet mix, then the dry, and fry over medium heat. Remove from oil. - 2
Sauté the onions, then add the chilies until fragrant. Sprinkle with salt, Masako, and pepper. Taste (I think it's delicious when a bit salty, moms ^^).
For a crispy texture, haha. - 3
Add the chicken and sauté just until the seasoning sticks. Sprinkle with scallions and remove from heat.
Done! Where's the rice...
Haha, it's best eaten warm with hot rice. Yummy! - 4
Tips:
#If you want a thicker coating on the chicken, dip it twice in the wet and dry seasoning.
#Fry over medium heat that's already hot for a crispy texture.
#Make the chili, salt, and onion mixture a bit salty for extra flavor. - 5
