Steps

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.

Add potatoes and cook it on medium to high flame till potatoes turn out light golden in colour.

Now add Milk, Sugar, cardamom powder and saffron threads.

Mix it all well and cook for 8-10 minutes.

Aalu Halwa is ready garnish it with some chopped nuts and serve hot.
