Steps

Put yeast and a pinch of salt and a pinch of flour in 1/4 cup of warm water.

In another bowl, put flour, sugar, cardamom and yeast. Add a little milk and coconut milk mix to foam a smooth dough.

Let the dough rest in a warm place to ensure it rise.

Divide the dough in small balls. Roll each ball into a 6 inching circle and with a sharp knife cut into quarters.

Heat oil in a pan when it's hot enough, fry the mandazi until golden brown.
