Steps

Wash & cook the rice.Keep a side.

To make vangi powder,dry roast all the masala ingredients & grind into fine powder.

Pour oil in a pan,add cumin, cardamom pods, chillies & saute.

Add chopped brinjal & wait till they are cooked.

Add vangi powder,tamarind pulp, turmeric powder,salt & fry.

Now add cooked rice & mix it well. turn off the stove
- 7
Note : you can use tamarind or lemon water based on your taste.
