Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupPoha (soaked)
  • 1/2 cupOats (soaked)
  • 1Onion (sliced)
  • 2Green chilli (chopped)
  • 4-5garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoonGinger (grated)
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonRoasted cumin's powder
  • 1 tablespoonSesame seeds (roasted and finely grind)
  • 50-100 gmsChickpeas (soaked and boiled)
  • 1/2Lemon
  • 1/2 cupOlive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl, into it, add soaked poha and oats, onion, garlic (2-3 chopped), ginger, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, some boiled chickpeas (mashed)and mix it all very well.

  2. 2

    Heat some oil in a pan. Make tikki according to your size preference and stir fry it.

  3. 3

    Switch off the flame and keep it aside.

  4. 4

    For hummus

  5. 5

    Into a mixer, add boiled chickpeas, sesame powder, olive oil (1/4 cup), salt, garlic, lemon juice and cumin powder and grind it into fine paste.

  6. 6

    Top it with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, your hummus is ready.

  7. 7

    Now you can serve poha and oats tikki with hummus.
