Ingredients

10 minutes
3 servings
  1. 1 cuparhar daal
  2. 1" ginger paste
  3. 1/2 tspasafoetida
  4. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspcumin seed
  6. 2-3slitted green chillies
  7. To tastesalt and sugar
  8. As neededoil

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil the daal with salt and turmeric powder

  2. 2

    Heat oil temper cumin seed,green chillies and asafoetida

  3. 3

    Add ginger paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Pour the daal and bring it to boil adding sugar

  5. 5

    Serve it with plain rice
