Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsrhubarb sliced
  2. 1 cstrawberries sliced
  3. 1/4 call-purpose flour
  4. 1 csugar
  5. 1/4 tsalt
  6. 3eggs beaten until frothy
  7. 1/2 tvanilla
  8. Crust for 2 layer pie:
  9. 2 cflour, 1 t salt, 3/4 c Crisco, 5-8 T cold water
  10. Refrigerate for 1/2 hr. Roll out

Steps

  1. 1

    In bowl combine sugar, flour & salt. Add rhubarb & strawberries, stir to coat. Spread in tin. Beat eggs & vanilla, pour over filling. Top with pastry

  2. 2

    Bake at 425° - 15 min, 350° - 30 min until knife is clear 1 in from center.

  3. 3

    Let cool on rack.
