Steps

Wash chana dal properly and soak it for 7-8hours in sufficient water.

Drain water and spread the dal on kitchen towel for soaking extra water.

Heat oil in a pan on high flame and add 3-4 tblespoons dal.

When oil stops bubbling and dal is crispy,take out dal from oil. Repeat this process until dal is finished.

Add all spices in dal now. Mix well.

Spicy and crunchy ‘Namkeen chana dal’ is ready to be served.
