Ingredients

15 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 1Large Raddish (chopped into small cubes)
  • 1Large Carrot (chopped into small cubes)
  • 10Green Chillies (Sliced)
  • 1 TbspCooking Oil
  • 1/2 TspMustard seeds
  • 3Dried Red Chillies (cut into halves)
  • 1/2 TspTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 TspFenugreek seed powder
  • 1/4 TspAsafoetida powder
  • 1 TspSugar
  • 3 TbspWhite Vinegar
  • Salt

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    To a heating pan add oil. When the oil is hot add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds start to pop, add red chillies and fry it lightly.

  2. 2

    Add chopped raddish, carrot and green chillies to the pan. Mix it well. Cover the pan with a lid. Allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Now add turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, asafoetida powder, sugar, salt and vinegar. Mix it well and cook for another one minute.

  4. 4

    Serve it hot or cold as a side dish with Rice or Roti.
