Moong dal balls (Florie) is specially made for chats like bhallas chat, papdi chat &can put in raita(curd)..this Florie make the dish super delicious.. Yet moong dal is full of protein.

Moong dal balls (Florie) is specially made for chats like bhallas chat, papdi chat &can put in raita(curd)..this Florie make the dish super delicious.. Yet moong dal is full of protein.
Steps

First wash then soak moong daal in water for at least 1 hour

Drain all the water and hold for 10 minutes more in a seive(strainer) to remove last drops of water

Take a traditional marble pot with a thick wooden log & beat moong daal to make pithhi..don't use mixer or blender for this process

Beat continuously for about 15 minutes until daal convert into a paste..Now sprinkle water ocasianally with hand &beat more and more to find out a fluffy batter check it whether the paste(pithhi) become much lighter in colour

Heat oil.Take small portion of batter in your hand and put in hot oil

Fry while flipping till the balls changes yellowish golden

Keep out of oil and put on a paper napkin

Take Lukewarm water, put 1/2 spoon of salt and soak the balls for 1/2 an hour

Remove the balls from water one by one squeezing

Tip ;Serve with Raita or bhalla chat

Instruction- don't put salt in batter other wise balls will not become fluffy..always put salt in water then soak the balls

Tip :U can take help of maid or an elder for the above process to reach the final result
