Ingredients

  • 1 cupFinely lengthwise chopped onion
  • 1/2 cupGram Flour (besan)
  • 2 tbspRice flour
  • Pinchsoda
  • as neededOil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • as neededLittle turmeric
  • as neededLittle ajwain
  • as neededWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Add besan,rice flour to the onions and mix.

  2. 2

    Add salt to taste, chilli powder,ajwain, turmeric,soda and mix.

  3. 3

    Now while mixing if you need some water you can add for binding.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in deep pan.

  5. 5

    Start putting bhajiyas with hand directly in oil.Keep flame on medium.

  6. 6

    Fry till golden brown.And take out on tissue paper.

  7. 7

    Fry some green chillies separately and keep.

  8. 8

    Eat hot Kanda bhajji along with chillies.

  9. 9

    Maharashtrian snax dish.
