This is quick and perfect for a dinner with friends at home. I used one layer of cheese and another of ham, but you can add as much as you like.

This is quick and perfect for a dinner with friends at home. I used one layer of cheese and another of ham, but you can add as much as you like.

First, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Unroll the puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Prick the pastry with a fork and start adding the ingredients.

Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the base (don’t use too much so the pastry doesn’t get soggy). Add a layer of Havarti cheese, a layer of ham, and sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese. Add oregano and dried basil, then cover with the second sheet of puff pastry. Leave a little space around the edges to fold and seal the pastry later.

Fold the edges and seal them with a fork. Brush the top with the beaten egg, sprinkle a little more oregano on top, and bake. Lower the oven temperature to 350-300°F (180-150°C) and bake until golden brown.
