Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 c.flour
  2. 1/2 tsp.soda
  3. 1/2 tsp.salt
  4. 1/4 tsp.cinnamon
  5. 1/2 c.shortening
  6. 1/4 tsp.nutmeg
  7. 1 c.sugar
  8. 1egg
  9. 3/4 c.banana, diced or mashed
  10. 1-3/4 c.oats
  11. 1/2 c.chopped nuts

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix dry ingredients. Cream the shortening and sugar together, add the egg and the banana. Add the dry ingredients stir well.

  2. 2

    Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. I line my cookie sheets with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake at 375°F for 13 to 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozens, depends on size.

  4. 4

    For, bar cookies 13x9 inch dish metal pan 350°F for 25 minutes
