Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and allow it to crackle

Add onion slices saute well

Add Potatoes saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add ginger paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

Add peas and tomato saute till oil separates

Add water and simmer for about 10 mnts

Add sugar and garam masala powder

Remove from heat and serve with steaming hot rice or roti
