Season the chicken legs with salt, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Let them marinate for at least 20 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator. Be sure to cover them.

Fry the chicken in hot oil until browned and sealed, about 3 minutes per side.

In the same oil, add the remaining garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and chicken broth. Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer until cooked through, about 15 to 20 minutes. Add sliced green onions and red bell pepper. Serve with boiled or roasted potato slices.
