Ingredients

20 minutes
4-5 servings
  • 2big raw mangoes
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tbsproasted masala powder (mustard red chilli five spices)
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspginger crushed
  • 1.5 cupsugar
  • To tastesalt
  • As neededoil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel off the mango and cut into cubes

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper mustard seeds and ginger

  3. 3

    Add mango slices saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Cover it and allow it to be soft.keep the heat low.

  5. 5

    As it becomes soft add sugar and mix well

  6. 6

    When it gets a jelly like consistency add roasted masala powder and remove from heat

  7. 7

    Cool it down completely and serve it at the end of a meal
