Boondis are all time favourite for me and so as my son now. I feel very happy when I get bundis as prasad (offering to God) in temples or anywhere mostly in festivals. I make meethi (sweet)bundis in mostly festivals or on demand.

In a bowl mix well gram flour with 1 cup of water so that no lumps are formed

Heat a kadai with oil and with the help of perforated spoon pour the besan mixture in oil and fry them in medium flame in batches.

Make sugar syrup with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar and boil till 1 thread consistency is formed

Dip the fried boondis in sugar syrup and mix well.

Heat a pan with ghee and fry the cashews and raisins. Mix them with the ready boondis and serve
