In a bowl whisk together besan, turmeric powder, green chilli and salt till combined.

Pour required quantity of water and mix the batter until smooth and thick.

Add some oil, kala jeera and khus khus mix thoroughly.

Now cut the brinjal in long slices and dip into the besan batter.
- 5
Heat oil in the pan. Put besan coated brinjal in the pan for deep frying.

Hot and crispy begunis are ready to serve.
