Sandwich coconut Mohanthal

This is authentic sweet. I twisted with coconut.
Steps

In a bowl, combine 1/2cup ghee and milk along with the besan and rub gently so as to resemble bread crumbs texture.

Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Then seive the mixture.

In a kadai heat the remaining ghee, add the above besan mixture, cook till brown in colour.

Then add mava and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Prepare sugar syrup with 1/2cup water and sugar.

Then add cardamom powder and saffron and mix it.

Add sugar syrup in besan mixture and mix well.

Prepare topping mix grated coconut and condensed milk. Mix well.

In greased tin pour half of the besan mixture and spread coconut mixture, then spread remaining besan mixture.

Sprinkle nuts and allow to set.

Cut into desired shape and serve.
