Ingredients

  1. 1/2 CupGram Flour
  2. 1 1/2 CupLeftover Dry Aloo and Matar Sabzi
  3. 1 tspGinger Green Chilli Paste
  4. 1 tspSaunf
  5. 1 tspSesame Seeds
  6. 2 tbspCoarse Roasted Peanut Powder
  7. Some Lemon Juice
  8. Some Sugar
  9. 1/4 tspGaram Masala
  10. 1/4 tspFruit Salt
  11. Salt per taste
  12. 1/4 tspAstafoida (Hing)
  13. Oil for frying
  14. 1 tbspFresh Coriander
  15. Water as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Take the leftover Dry Sabzi and mash it properly.

  2. 2

    Add Ginger Green Chilli Paste,Coriander,Peanut Powder,Lemon Juice,Garam Masala,Sugar,Salt,Saunf and sesame seeds and mix it properly.

    Make a round ball of it and keep aside.

  4. 4

    Take the Garamflour and add some water,Salt,Astafoeida and make a batter.

  5. 5

    Heat oil till medium hot.

  6. 6

    Add Fruit Salt to the batter and mix it properly.

  7. 7

    Now dip the balls into the batter and fry them till crispy.

  8. 8

    And now the Vada are ready and serve with Green Chutney and Dates and Tamarind Chutney.

  9. 9

    This is a yummy Leftover Ka Makeover dish.
