Ingredients

  • 1/2 CupIdli batter
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspGarlic paste -
  • 1 tspGinger paste -
  • 1 tspOil -
  • 1/4 tspRai -
  • 1/2 tspTil -
  • 1/4 tspJeera -
  • 1/2 dropOrange edible colour -
  • 1/2 dropGreen edible colour -

Steps

  1. 1

    Divide idli batter into 3 parts.

  2. 2

    Mix salt, garlic and ginger paste in batter. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Add orange food colour in one portion and green colour in second part. Mix well.One portion will b white.

    Grease mould and pour green batter then white batter and lastly add orange batter on top.

    Steam for 10- 15 mins.

  6. 6

    Let it cool for 5 mins.

  7. 7

    Heat oil in tadka pan put rai...jeera and til. Let it crackle. Pour over dhoklas.

    Cut into desired pieces.

    Serve with chutney.
