Saute the onions until the become translucent.

Add the tomatoes and let them get mashed. Then add the powdered garlic and turmeric

Leave the spices on a low heat for 2-3 minutes. Then add the green grams.

Mix them in the tomato-spice mixture and let it seat on the heat for 1-2 minutes.

Add the water,royco and pepper. Mix it in and let it simmer.

When it's almost ready, add the parsley.

Serve while hot with your favorite starch. e. g chapati.
