Well... i slept at 2am. What can i say... I am a foodie, i come across a new recipe, i have to try it. Love the outcome, it was worth it. They will be perfect next time.

Take the chocolate dough, roll and cut to form a square. Do the same to the vanilla dough.

Brush the egg wash on the vanilla dough and place the chocolate dough ontop of the vanilla dough

Arrange them in alternating manner: chocolate vanilla, vanilla cocolate.

Wrap and refrigerate to make it firm. Or you can put it in the freezer for future use

Preheat the oven to 360degrees

Remove from fridge and cut into slices.

Arrange them on a lined baking sheet. From the diagrams, you will notice that my measurements for length and height were not accurate... For a perfect checkerboard please measure the rolled out dough before cutting into stacks
