Ingredients

1 hour
4-5 servings
  1. 1 ltr milk
  2. 1 cupsoaked almond
  3. 1/2 cupsoaked rice (crushed)
  4. 1-2 tspcardamom powder
  5. 1-2 tbspchopped almond for garnish
  6. 1-2 dropkewra essence/ water

Steps

  1. 1

    Soaked almond in water for 5 hours. And peel the skin and grind the almond to a paste adding half cup of milk.

  2. 2

    Take a heavy bottomed pan, add milk bring a boil.

  3. 3

    Now add crushed rice, stir well.

  4. 4

    Keep stirring till the milk reduced to 3/4th of it's quantity.

  5. 5

    Now add cardamom powder.

  6. 6

    Add sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves.

  7. 7

    Now add almond paste mix well.

  8. 8

    Keep stirring, add chopped almond.

  9. 9

    Add kewra water mix well.Now heat off.

  10. 10

    Serve hot, warm or chilled.
