Steps

Soak Saffron in little milk.Keep aside.

In a non stick pan add Mawa/ khoya and turn on the heat.Keep stirring the Mawa as it should not stick to the pan.

Add sugar and stir further.

When Mawa has absorbed all the sugar add mango pulp and mix.

Keep stirring so it doesn't stick to the pan.Once done turn off gas after 3-4mins

Cool this mixture for 4-5hrs.

Take Modak mould and grease lightly with ghee.

After 5hrs you will see the MAWA/khoya mixture has become thick enough and pliable.Take out small balls from here and insert into Modak moulds.Close the moulds and press.

Now open the Modak mould and you will see mixture taking shape of MODAKS.

Arrange all your MODAKS on plate and offer to Lord Ganesha.
