Nutritional yeast is a real wonder ingredient. I use it a lot to flavour my 'cheese' sauces as it does just taste like cheese. The dry ground cashews make a great base but if you're nut-free you can absolutely use the nutritional yeast and seasoning ground up on their own instead

  1. 120 gunsalted cashew nuts (3/4 cup)
  2. 3 tbspnutritional yeast
  3. 3/4 tspsea salt flakes
  4. 1/4 tspgarlic powder

    Pulse in a blender until powdered then store in a 300ml jar in the fridge. It will keep well for a good month

  2. 2

    Delicious sprinkled over pasta dishes, meatballs, added to breading for chicken or fish etc
