Ingredients

  • 1kilo all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 3eggs
  • 1 glassmilk
  • 4 tbspmargarine
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 1lemon zest

Steps

  1. 1

    Sieve the flour and add the sugar and baking powder and mix them up.

  2. 2

    Add the eggs and margarine mix together and start adding in the milk little by little as you knead to a soft dough

  3. 3

    Knead for 10 minutes and cut to desired sizes and shapes.

  4. 4

    Heat the oil and start frying the mandazi's till golden brown and remove from oil ready to serve with desired beverage.
