Makhmali Kaju Paneer

This Punjabi dish curry is very rich, creamy and lip-smacking. This super delicious recipe will give you the taste of Restaurants. So easy and quick to make as this gravy is made in pressure cooker.
I have made this curry is made with onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, Kashmiri red chilli, cashew and whole spices.
It is very aromat butter based gravy. !!!
That’s why i have given this curry name as Makhmali KAJU PANEER. I have added Cashews in this curry as well. It gives very nice crunch.

Steps

Soak the cashew nuts in 1/2 cup water for 30 minutes.

Heat butter in a pressure cooker. Let it melt. Add all whole spices to it. Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli,tomatoes and Cashew nuts.

Saute it for 5 minutes over a medium heat. Close the pressure cooker lid. Cook it until 2-3 Whistles.

Let the pressure cooker cool down, and put all mixture into mixer grinder. Blend it very well. Make a paste and strain it using strainer.

Take strained paste in a pan. Season it with salt and kasuri methi. Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes over a medium to low heat.

Once it comes to a boil add sugar and heavy whipping cream.
Add paneer to it. Mix well. Let it cook for 5 minutes over a medium heat.

Makhmali Kaju Paneer is ready.
Serve it with Rice, Naan or Paratha.
