Ingredients

  1. To make kofta:
  2. 250 gmchopped spinach
  3. 200 gramsGrated Paneer
  4. 1-2 tbspGram flour
  5. 1/2 tea spoonred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tea spoongaram masala
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. Oil for frying
  9. For Puree
  10. 3medium sized onion
  11. 5-6 clovesgarlic
  12. 2medium sized tomatoes
  13. 1/2 inchginger piece
  14. 2-3 tbspFresh cream
  15. Chopped green coriander leaves
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1 tea spoonred chilli powder
  18. 1.5 tea spoondhaniya powder
  19. 1/2 tea spoonturmeric powder
  20. 2-3 tbspFresh cream
  21. 1/4 tspGaram masala
  22. 1 table spoonButter
  23. 1.5 table spoonOil
  24. Kasuri Methi
  25. 1/2 tea spoonjeera (cumin)

Steps

  1. 1

    Put chopped spinach in boiling water

  2. 2

    Once the spinach cools down, squeeze out the water from it.

  3. 3

    Take bowl and put grated paneer in it.

  4. 4

    Now add blanched spinach and all the spices (red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste).

  5. 5

    Add besan gram flour or corn flour for binding the koftas.

  6. 6

    Take small portion of mixture and make small balls out of the mixture

    Heat oil in deep pan on medium flame and fry the Palak paneer balls slowly into it

  8. 8

    Now deep fry them on low heat till  golden brown

  9. 9

    To make puree

  10. 10

    To make puree grind chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, with little water into smooth paste.

    Take kadai put oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add cumin seed and hing

  12. 12

    Add puree, mix it.Add all the spices coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt to taste, fresh cream and mix it well.

    Now add water, mix it well and bring it to boil

  14. 14

    Once the gravy starts boiling add Kasuri methi, freshly chopped coriander leaves and fried palak paneer kofta one by one and cook for  2 minutes.

  15. 15

    Take out the Palak Paneer Kofta Curry in a serving bowl and garnish it with some fresh cream and chopped coriander leaves.
    Serve hot with roti, chapatti or naan.
