Steps

Take 1/2 kg cleaned mutton in a bowl.

Let’s marinate with a teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste,
2 teaspoons red chilli powder,
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder,
1 teaspoon salt.
Mix ingredients with fingers for better masala absorption. Marinate for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes,
Heat 2 to 3 tablespoons butter in a heavy based pan. - 4
Add the marinated mutton and fry till colour changes. Add 4 finely chopped onions.

Use 3 ripe tomatoes to extract tomato purée. Add to the meat.
Add 1 cup finely chopped cilantros.

Add 1 cup cashew paste and fresh cream.

Cover and cook the meat for 20 minutes in medium heat till mutton is done. Stir occasionally.

Mutton Makhani is ready to serve. Relish with pulaos/ flatbreads.
