Steps

Wash & Soak the rajma overnight.

In a pan,pour 2 tbsp of oil with bay leaf,black & green cardamon, I cinemmon stick.Cook till turns fragnant.

Now add chopped onions & ginger garlic paste,cook till it becomes brown in colour.add salt,red chilli powder, turmeric powder & grinded tomatoes.

Cook till oil spreads from corner.Put this paste in the pressure cooker with soaked rajma

Cover with lid & give 2-3 whistles then switch off the flame.

When it coolsdown,open the lid & cook & stir till all the water is absorbed with the rajma.

Add 1 glass of water in it & again give 1 whistle,then slow down the flame for 20 minutes.

Soak the rice for 20 minutes.

Take a karahi,add 1 tbsp of oil with 1 bay leaf & cumin seeds,cook till it becomes brown.

Now drain the water from soaked rice & put the rice with double the water means if 1 cup of rice,add 2 cup of water.

After a boil, slow down the flame & covered it with the lid & cook for 20 minutes

Serve hot with rajma.Garnish the rajma with garam masala,coriander powder,leaves & kasuri methi.
