Heat a wok dry roast the mung dal

Now wash and boil adding salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and temper nigella seeds and red chilli whole

Add gourd slices and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder and cover till it is soft

Now add the boiled dal and mix sugar
